Wins
LapBrain starts with what you did well. These aren't generic encouragements — they're specific observations from the data. You might see things like ConsistencyConsistencyHow repeatable your performance is across laps, measured by the variation in lap times or turn times within a session. across a sequence of corners, or strong Trail brakingTrail brakingMaintaining brake pressure while leaning into a corner, loading the front tire and tightening the turning arc. into a key braking zone.
Celebrating wins reinforces good habits. Before focusing on what to improve, take a moment to acknowledge what you're already doing right.
Focus recommendation
Below your wins, you'll see your Focus recommendationFocus recommendationA coaching area ranked by potential time gain and your current skill level. LapBrain shows multiple focus recommendations so you can choose how many to work on. s — coaching areas ranked by how much time you could gain. The top item is the highest-impact change; the rest give you options if you want to work on more than one thing.
Each focus item includes:
- What to change (e.g., "Trail brake deeper into Turn 3")
- Evidence from your data (braking point, speed traces, comparison to your best lap)
- What to do next session — a concrete action to try on track
Start with the top recommendation. If you're comfortable with it, scan the next few for related issues — sometimes two focus items target the same corner and you can address them together.
