LapBrain reads MoTeC .ld log files. Export one from i2 Pro, or bring a file straight from a compatible data logger's SD card.

Export from i2 Pro

  1. Connect your data logger and open the session in i2 Pro
  2. Go to File → Export
  3. Choose .ld format and save the file
  4. In LapBrain, open the LapBrain menu, choose Sessions, tap + in the Sessions panel header, then Choose files, and pick the exported file

Export from MoTeC C-series (C125, C127, etc.)

  1. Remove the SD card from your data logger
  2. Copy the .ld files to your computer (they're in the root of the card or a dated folder)
  3. Upload directly to LapBrain (no i2 Pro conversion needed)

Channel requirements

LapBrain requires GPS latitude and longitude channels for corner analysis. It recognizes these standard channel names:

  • GPS Latitude / GPS Longitude

Some MoTeC configurations don't log GPS by default. If you're not sure whether GPS is enabled, check your data logger's channel list in i2 Pro. You need at minimum GPS Latitude and GPS Longitude at 5 Hz or higher.

Models that work with LapBrain

  • C125 / C127: direct SD card export
  • M1 series: export via i2 Pro
