LapBrain is not a replacement for a human coach. If you tell LapBrain a session is connected to a coach, school, instructor, or outside riding advice, the debrief keeps recommendations flexible instead of sounding like it is overriding that guidance.

What changes

The data analysis still runs normally. LapBrain still identifies braking, line, throttle, and consistency patterns from the session. What changes is the wording around some focus items:

  • It may defer the final technique choice to your coach.
  • It may present the data as something to compare with what you were taught.
  • It may soften a recommendation that would otherwise sound absolute.

Safety-framed coaching still takes priority. If a focus item is safety-sensitive, LapBrain uses the safety wording first and keeps the coaching-context badge as extra context.

When it applies

Coaching context can come from your account settings or from the upload confirmation checkbox for a specific session. Account-level coaching context is treated as recent for a limited window, so an old school day does not keep changing every future debrief forever. A session-level checkbox applies only to the session you are uploading.

Use this when the session was part of a coaching school, an instructor day, an ongoing coaching relationship, or a specific piece of outside riding advice you were practicing.
