You can permanently delete your LapBrain account and its data at any time. You don't need to contact us to do it. The option is built into the app.

Delete your account from the app

  1. Sign in to LapBrain, in the mobile app or the web app.
  2. Open the LapBrain menu and choose Settings.
  3. On the Account tab, scroll to Delete Account.
  4. Confirm when prompted.

That's it. The request is processed on our servers. You don't need to email anyone or wait for a manual approval.

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. It removes your account and your uploaded rider telemetry, not just the app on your device.

Delete some of your data and keep your account

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove data. Both of these work in the mobile app and the web app, and neither affects the rest of your account.

Delete a session

  1. Open the LapBrain menu and choose Sessions.
  2. On a computer, select the × (Delete session) button and confirm the permanent deletion. On a touch screen, swipe the session left, then tap Delete.
  3. Deletion starts as soon as you confirm it or tap the exposed Delete button. It cannot be undone.

Delete a bike

  1. Open the LapBrain menu and choose Bikes under Garage.
  2. Select Delete on the bike, then Confirm Delete.
  3. The bike is removed. Any sessions still assigned to it stay in your session list and become unassigned.

If you want something removed that you can't delete yourself, email [email protected] from the address associated with your account and tell us what to delete.

What gets deleted, and when

When you delete your account, we delete your personal information, uploaded rider telemetry, account-keyed usage data, and account-keyed error reports. We complete this server-side deletion within 30 days.

We may keep de-identified, aggregated data that does not identify you, and we may retain limited records where the law requires it. For the full picture, see the Privacy Policy.

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, deleting your LapBrain account does not cancel that subscription. Cancel it separately through your Apple or Google account subscription settings. See the Terms of Service for details.

Can't sign in?

If you can't access your account to delete it yourself, email us at [email protected] and we'll handle the deletion for you. Send the request from the email address associated with your account so we can verify it.
